Please note if you buy from us, you're buying vintage - meaning - items are used, old, pre-worn etc. We take great care to list all flaws, but we're not perfect 100% all of the time, sometimes we miss things in the description - also check the photos as part of the descriptions/flaws.
We wash, alter, mend and fix an abundance of our stock to save it from landfill and give it a new lease of life. It is always our intention to fix holes, rips/tears stains etc, but again we're only human, occasionally things get missed (or we're too busy, so we mention flaws in the description). This is the world of vintage.
Also, sizing: sizes are a guide only - and allow a little space to move. You are responsible to always check the measurements which we always carefully and painstakingly include, to be extra specially careful so you have the best experience with us. We spend hours everyday measuring garments.

The vintage love story...
Recently, I was pondered where my passion for vintage clothes began. I had a flashback while photographing the latest delivery of vintage stock, which led to a beautiful realisation. Nestled within this hazy vision of that long lost memory - a very early childhood memory - was a scene in which as a very young child, I was enjoying playing dressing up with vintage garments my mother had randomly gathered together and set aside for me and my brothers to explore and play with.
This was the 1980s. This was our 'dressing up box'.
It was here with those items, seemingly so insignificant, that my love and attachment for vintage items from eras past was born. I remember a loose and elegant dark red, satin lined velvet jacket that was my grandmother's from decades before. I remember a long, chic, bias-cut strappy black maxi dress my mother no longer wore. I remember how they smelled. I would delight in wearing each curious piece, each one engulfing my little body. I fantasized that one day I would fit into such glamourous and beautiful attire. I remember wondering why these amazing garments were in our dressing up box and not cherished items of an adults wardrobe, and that if they only fitted me, I could wear them everyday...
